Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

This policy explains what Emaratel TE collects, why, and what happens to it. Short version: we collect what is needed to run an email platform, we keep it only as long as configured, and we never sell it.

1. What we collect

Account data - name, email address, company details you provide in the signup profile (company name, address, tax ID, phone, website).
Email data - the messages you send through the Service: recipients, subject, content, attachments, and the delivery events they generate (delivered, bounced, opened, clicked).
Technical data - IP addresses, sign-in and API activity, and audit records of account actions, kept for security.
Billing data - your plan and subscription status. Card numbers are collected by our payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay) on their own pages and never reach our servers.

2. How we use it

To deliver your email and show you what happened to it; to secure accounts (fraud and abuse prevention, audit trails); to bill you; to support you when you write to us; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your email content for advertising or profiling.

3. Recipients' data

When you send email through us, you are the controller of your recipients' data and we process it on your instructions. Recipient addresses that bounce, complain or unsubscribe are kept on your suppression list so they are not contacted again - that is a protective measure for the recipients themselves.

4. Retention

Email content and events are kept for your account's configured retention window (default 30 days) and then deleted automatically. Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and as required by law afterwards. Security logs are kept for a limited period.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the platform - email delivery infrastructure, hosting, and payment processing - each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us; and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not share your customer lists or message content with anyone else.

6. Security

Transport encryption on every interface, secrets stored encrypted, credentials stored only as hashes, role-based access, two-factor authentication, IP restrictions and audit logging. See the Security page for detail.

7. Your rights

You can access and export your data from the console (activity exports, suppression exports), correct your account details, and delete data by shortening retention or closing your account. For anything else - including access or deletion requests concerning data we hold about you - contact us via the Support page and we will respond promptly.

8. Cookies

The console uses a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced by email or in the console before they take effect.
